Vault VIA CLI
Vault is a custom, automated bakery you build with the Honeycake CLI. Point it at your folders and every file dropped in is baked into a .cake automatically: your folder mappings, your permissions, your schedule. Perfect for organizations and individuals who need to secure large volumes of files with minimal manual intervention.
Automated Baking
Wire the CLI's bakedir into your scheduler or file watcher and every file that lands in a source folder is baked to its destination, recursively if you want, each file with its own encryption keys.
Custom Folder Mappings
Give each folder its own rules: who is granted, who is denied, and how long access lasts (--grant, --ttl, groups, and more per mapping). Drop an .hcrc beside your files and layered field-level encryption is applied automatically.
Built for Automation
Headless and scriptable: run it from cron, CI pipelines, or your own tooling, with structured --output=json for scripts and agents. Your Vault runs wherever your automation runs, on your machines.
Same .cake, Every Surface
Files baked by your Vault use the same .cake format as every other Honeycake surface. Recipients open them with the App on iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS, or right in the browser, with the same identity-keyed access as any other .cake.
